The Toolkit

Every good system starts with a list.

Every good system starts with a list. Make yours here — then send it to the sizing calculator, or to us.

How this is calculated.

Each appliance contributes its running watts (nameplate × quantity) to the simultaneous load, and its daily energy (running watts × hours ÷ 1000). Sum both. Feed the total into the solar sizing calculator, or send it to us.

runningWatts = watts · qty
dailyKwh     = runningWatts · hours / 1000
totals       = Σ runningWatts , Σ dailyKwh

Questions

Where do I find an appliance's wattage?

On the rating plate/sticker, usually near the power cord — in watts (W) or amps (multiply amps × 230 for watts).
